Self Guided Group Tours
Memorial Day through Columbus Day
General admission fees apply for self touring groups of less than 20 visitors and advance scheduling is not required. Self touring groups of 20 or more visitors must be scheduled a minimum of one week in advance with a 50% deposit received 2 days prior to the date of tour.

Admission fee includes historic house tours during Main House Open hours, and self-guided tours of the gardens and John Hay Ecology Trail. Guided tours of the gardens are scheduled at 1:30pm Wednesday through Sunday June 25 through August 17 and are open to self touring groups.

Private Group Tours
June through August

Private tours of the gardens, house or in combination are available to groups of 10 or more Monday through Friday, June through August. (See chart below for detailed scheduling information.) Garden tours are led by a member of the Landscape staff and house tours by the Education Director. A minimum of two weeks advance registration is requested with a deposit of 50% received 7 days prior to the date of tour. Prearranged tours proceed rain or shine.

Snacks and cold drinks are available at The Fells Gift Shop when the Main House is open. Visitors are welcome to bring lunches to enjoy on the shaded veranda. There are no trash disposal facilities, please carry out all trash.
